Craigleith Homes Association will be holding its first Pickleball Festival in partnership with POWWR (Pickleball of Waterloo Wellington Region). This event is open to any member of a Beechwood association and a friend who plays or wants to play Pickleball. The goal of this festival is to increase participation in pickleball, bring our Beechwood communities together to have some fun, and raise some money for the painting of proper lines on our courts.
If you’re looking to get into playing all you need is some proper athletic shoes and clothing, of course if you already have a racquet bring it with you. There will be racquets provided to try out or use courtesy of Bob’s Racquets as well as a clinic for beginners put on by members of POWWR. 3 courts will be setup for multiple games and we will finish with a BBQ for all the participants.
The details of the day are as follows:
Cost $10 per person. If you can RSVP so we have an idea of numbers for the BBQ.

9am start and end around 1pm.
Meat and Veggie burgers and hotdogs will be provided. If you have a food allergy or dietary need we can do our best to accommodate you if you let us know in advance.
Please note we do not have a dedicated parking lot for our facility as we are located off the path between Tatlock and Faraday. We would prefer if you could walk or ride a bike to our event as parking on both Faraday and Tatlock is very limited.
